The Firm prides itself on having representing the first Israeli P2P site that was sued by certain copyright holders. We secured the removal of the injunction imposed on our client as well as reaching a precedent-setting beneficial settlement agreement, never before seen in <xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" />Israel.

Our firm's litigation was instrumental in prompting the Tel Aviv District Court to reach a ground-breaking decision that recognizes a P2P site's right to stream live coverage of certain public events that have social or cultural value – i.e., soccer games – on the basis of the public's right of fair use, while not completely denying the rights holder's commercial interests.
